  • Worked on a major project that involved replacing the current system that failed in handling large volume of messages.
  • The MQ hub was replaced with 2 HACMP clusters with fail-over queue managers and cluster queue managers. It handles large volume of messages in some problem queues with no issues in QA test. In Kohl’s, the E-Commerce environment consists of many queues that are set up to handle large volume of messages. Daily job was to keep the environment running smoothly. Monitored messages using QPasa. It will send out alerts when certain criteria are met. For example, it will send out an alert when some queues are nearly full, when some messages enter dead letter queue, or when the queue manager goes down.
