Overview: Travelport owns various GDS cores which provide critical transaction processing solutions to companies operating in the global travel industry. Credit Card Hub represents an effort to bring efficiencies and cost savings to the Credit Card Approval function and consolidate credit card authorization links for the 4 GDS cores and card types. The project has been implemented using IBM Message Broker, MQ and Java deployed on WAS. The solution uses key Java frameworks like OpenJPA, Springs etc with queue based web based interfaces implemented using MDB JAXB webservices respectively.
