My current assignment addresses the processing of Air Manifests. This entails the validation of the manifest's data and its relationship t other data elements. The manifest data is validated against the entry summary information that is submitted by the shipper prior t the arrival of the carg at the destination airport.

  • Position summary: While on this project I provided development and architectural support for their CIS system. I was primarily responsible for the development of their Generic Error Handler. This error handler was designed t capture the errors and report them through the use of a relational database table. This solution utilizes the MQRFH2 header t hold information and pass it t the subsequent flows. The process utilizes the exception list, which was created by the occurrence of the error, t capture the error message information. The information that is collected by this flow is sent t downstream message flows and inserted int the error table.

The EDI messages are passed t the WebSphere Message Broker through a WebSpehre MQ Series queue. The data elements in these messages are validated using esql t enforce business logic.
