- The Primary role of this position is to provide operational/production support of middleware environment running mission critical enterprise applications.
- The role involves providing Administrative and production support verizonwireless's middleware environment deploy enterprise applications, setting up performance tuning and proactive monitoring, handle incidence ticket/alert, in IBM technology suite: WebSphere MQ, WebSphere Websphere Message Broker. WebSphere Application Server, IBM HTTP Server IHS and Datapower on Solaris environment. This role also shares a rotation oncall.

- Set up automated proactive monitoring using industry standard monitoring tool such as Wily or in some cases where Wily does not have facility, write shell script
