- Position Summary: Confidential is the largest seller of college textbooks and school apparel. My responsibilities included the monitoring of the SFA tables. These tables hold the detail information of the sales. I constructed a set of SQL database queries that when executed verified the success of the sale transactions. Interruptions of these database updates Indicated a processing issue and appropriate escalations were exercised. Additionally I worked with schools and books stores to facilitate automated purchases of books and other course material. I was also responsible for assisting the schools and bookstores in the setup and execution of their Registration Integration efforts. This process automated book purchases at the time of course registration. My responsibilities included coordinating with the store managers, the setup of the school’s term codes by working with the college bookstore managers and the schools technology group to configure their integration requirements.

My current assignment addresses the processing of Air Manifests. This entails the validation of the manifest’s data and its relationship to other data elements. Responsibilities:- Position summary: While on this project I provided development and architectural support for their CIS system. I was primarily responsible for the development of their Generic Error Handler. This error handler was designed to capture the errors and report them through the use of a relational database table. This solution utilizes the MQRFH2 header to hold information and pass it to the subsequent flows. The process utilizes the exception list, which was created by the occurrence of the error, to capture the error message information. The information that is collected by this flow is sent to downstream message flows and inserted into the error table.

The EDI messages are passed to the WebSphere Message Broker through a WebSpehre MQ Series queue. The data elements in these messages are validated using esql to enforce business logic. After the validations are performed the data is transformed to a proprietary format through the use of Neon Transformation nodes.
